Poor Little Daddy's Girl (Daddy's Girl #3)
by Normandie AllemanTwenty-four-year-old Charmaine Bainbridge appears to have it all—beauty, fame, and tremendous wealth—yet behind all the glitz and glamor hides a sad little girl who has been abandoned by every man she’s ever loved.
When firefighter Hunter Baldwin saves Charmaine from a fire in her penthouse apartment—a blaze started by her own carelessness—he’s appalled by her nonchalant attitude. Forced to carry her to safety, he throws her over his shoulder, but not before correcting her behavior with a well-deserved spanking. Something about Charmaine arouses him deeply, and it isn’t just her gorgeous looks. This girl needs to be firmly corrected and thoroughly dominated, and a part of Hunter demands that he be the one to take her in hand.
Though he’s used to charging into burning buildings on a daily basis, Hunter knows taming Charmaine’s wild ways may prove to be his greatest challenge yet. Undeterred, he takes on the role of Charmaine’s daddy dom in hopes of breaking down her defenses and healing her wounds. But can she bring herself to open her heart to him, or will she remain the lonely little rich girl forever?
Sadly this is a DNF at 61%
I had high hopes for this read, I'm quite partial to a spanking novel and this certainly has it but that's about it. I didn't find the characters all that likeable and found the story just didn't hold my attention.
Lots of people on Goodreads did like it and that's great but its a 'no' for me.

This is Book One in the Men Of Honor series. It can be read as a standalone and has a HEA. It’s New Adult Romance and is told from both character’s POV. Due to strong sexual content, coarse language and mature subject matter this book is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.

Risking It All for Her Boss by Sharron McClellan
Entangled Publishing.
Amazon UK £0.99
204 Pages
Heroes for Hire: Big Risk. Big Reward. No Regrets.
When High Risk Securities (HRS) agent, Eva Torres, botches an undercover job by failing
to rescue both of the kidnap victims she was sent to retrieve, Quinn Blackwood—her former
lover and the man who broke her heart—pulls her and one of the victims out of harm’s way.
As a penalty for her sins, she’s offered the dull job of escorting a former bio-chemical warfare
scientist to Washington D.C. to reunite with his daughter. Much to her displeasure, the job of
monitoring her assignment is given to Quinn.
Quinn isn’t thrilled with the situation either. He taught Eva everything he knew about secrets,
sex, and lies—but the biggest lie of all was the one he’d told himself: that his missions for
HRS were more important than anything, including his relationship with Eva. Because now
that they’re working together again, the urge to put his hands on her, to feel her beneath him, is
killing him.
Things only get worse when their current operation goes wrong, and the scientist they’re
guarding is kidnapped mid-air. Now, Eva and Quinn have to work together to find him before he
is forced to create a monstrous weapon that could destroy entire cities. A hard task made more
difficult when they find themselves fighting both the enemy and their building desire for each
other. Can they work together for the sake of the mission without reigniting the passion between
them—or will passion be the salvation of them all?
This is a military romance set in Colombia and America. It started off well, straight into the action with Eva rescuing Felix but then it fizzles out. This could do with more...everything. More description, more action, more suspense, just more everything. The story line is good and with a bit more Oomph it would be a fantastic read.

A Must Read, Wow
This has to be the BEST book in the series so far. Absolutely fantastic military romance. This book is set in London, Virginia, and Spain and as the title suggests Rocco Savage has a secret but then so does Mi6 interrogator Caterina Cruz. The chemistry between the pair of them is super hot and I love the way Cat gets Rocco going by talking Spanish to him and the way she handles a weapon whether it be a gun or a super large knife held between her teeth. If big hot guys with big guns who pull out all the stops to save the girl is your cup of tea then this is defiantly for you.
**WARNING** This story has a violent sexual scene and Cristin Harber has done a great job of portraying the horror of the attack without making it overly graphic and I would also join Cristin in saying that...
"Rape is a crime. Talking about it isn't. There are many resources out there, Including After Silence to help in the healing process"

Point of No Return by Rita Henuber
Fans of thrilling military romances will love Rita Henuber’s books.
Marine Major Honey Thornton is nobody’s fool, so when she’s brought in for an off-the-books mission by a manipulative two-star general, she has to wonder why. When it turns out Honey’s mission is to investigate a military contractor tied to the recent kidnappings of innocent children, she signs on immediately. Little did she know one of the first people she’d have to question was her sometime lover, Jack O’Brien.
Jack O’Brien left the CIA bitter and disillusioned and now hires himself out as a contract spy. When his brother and sister-in-law are mysteriously killed and the young daughter they left behind is targeted for kidnapping, he smells a cover-up and goes underground to find out who’s behind it all. Not sure who he can trust, the situation grows more tense when the sexy Honey starts asking questions he’s not sure he wants to answer.
With suspicion flaring on all sides and passion burning between them, Jack and Honey have to decide whether they can trust each other and bring down the people responsible, no matter how high up the chain of command it goes. Because when you’re navigating the murky political waters of the Pentagon, the CIA, and private armies, it’s hard to know who’s got your back, who’s on your side, and who’s lying to your face—and sometimes the only thing you can trust is what you know in your heart.
About the Author:
Rita Henuber is the author of Under Fire, Under Fire: The Admiral, and No Holding Back. Her heroes and heroines are either in the military or government service because she writes what she knows—her father was in the Coast Guard and immediate family members served in every branch of the service, ranking from private to admiral and working as desk jockeys, grunts, pilots, and everything in between. Retired from government service herself, Rita now lives on the barrier island where she grew up.
Military romance seems to be my favorite thing to read at the moment. I love sexy alpha males and hot 'hold their own' heroines and this book does not disappoint. I enjoyed the technical details that seem to bring a scene to life and there's no shortage of steamy bits too. This fast became a book I couldn't put down.
Only one issue I had with this book and that was the phrase 'flaming fish balls' , once or twice I could have handled but it's constantly cropping up, I thought it was because the author wanted a substitute for the 'F word' , nope, I was wrong because ' f''king flaming fish balls' was in it too. This did detract from my enjoyment and so I give this book a 3.5 Stars instead of a 4. I would certainly read others by this author and I would recommend this book.
