Gabriel's Redemption (Gabriel's Inferno #3) by Sylvain Reynard

Professor Gabriel Emerson has left his position at the University of Toronto to embark on a new life with his beloved Julianne. Together, he’s confident that they can face any challenge. And he’s eager to become a father.

But Julianne’s graduate program threatens Gabriel’s plans, as the pressures of being a student become all consuming. When she is given the honor of presenting an academic lecture at Oxford, Gabriel is forced to confront her about the subject of her presentation – research that conflicts with his own. And in Oxford, several individuals from their past appear, including an old nemesis intent on humiliating Julia and exposing one of Gabriel’s darkest secrets.

In an effort to confront his remaining demons, Gabriel begins a quest to discover more about his biological parents, beginning a chain of events that has startling repercussions for himself, Julianne, and his hope of having a family.

I was so looking forward to reading this book, the 7 months waiting seemed like forever but finally the day arrived. Now 5 days later and i'm finished and I have to say it fell flat for me. We have the story of Gabriel and Julianne which seemed to be an account of day to day life with only a couple of interesting bits (sorry, i'm not giving anything away) Then theres Christa, some would say she got what she deserved and yes i think she did but it didn't keep me up till 2am reading so I could find out what happened to the nasty bitch. And then theres Paul...Why was he included? I seems to me his was a non story. I think I should have stopped at book 2 ( I can't believe I just said that!).

 4 very generous stars.

Knight Takes Queen (The Knight Trilogy) By CC Gibbs.

Pub Date

Kate knows the irrestistible attraction she feels for Dominic Knight could forfeit her chance at happiness, but she's finding it impossible to stay away...
Knight Takes Queen is the final instalment in a trilogy featuring the clever and sensitive Katherine Hart and her indomitable billionaire lover, Dominic Knight.

The wait is finally over, If you're like me you could barely wait to find out what happened next.  I think it could have been a little more than it was,  I thought the ex-wife would have caused more trouble and the mafia boss too but I was left wanting even the stay at his "Hotel" was a let down.  Only thing I would say is I love the end, maybe the story begins again?
